CHRISTINE
TURNER (improviser)
has been performing improvisational
comedy since 1986 when she founded her first
improv comedy troupe "Brainwaves".
"Brainwaves" performed the college
circuit all over the West Coast. She also
founded the first all-female improv group
in the Pacific-Northwest, "Raging Hormones",
before relocating to New York City in 1994.
Christine Turner was a member of Freestyle
Repertory Theater and taught improv throughout
the Tri-State Area. She has worked with
Theatersports and ComedySportz (International
Improvisational Comedy Organizations) and
co-founded the long-running musical improv
comedy "The Next Big Broadway Musical".
She has taught Improvisation at Wharton
and Wall Street, as well as performing improv
on her own at Don't Tell Mama and The Ice
Palace.
