DEB RABBAI (improviser)
is a native New Yorker who's been
performing professionally for the last twenty
years. She was a co-creator and performer
in the MAC award winning, critically acclaimed
improvised musical comedy, "The Next
Big Broadway Musical!". She's a performer
in the national touring company of Chicago
City Limits. She is also an experienced
teacher of improvisation who has taught
at NYU & Marymount Manhattan. She has
led workshops on "Teamwork and Creativity"
to executives with Revlon, Oxygen Network
& Merck. She has created programs which
teach curriculum through improvisation and
has taught improvisation in the NY, NJ &
CT public schools through Arts Connection,
Theatre for a New Audience and Young Audiences.
She's appeared on 'Late Night with Conan
O'Brien' and in a national Mastercard commercial.
She's done voice overs for products you
love and created the voice for "Shenfa"
in the SEGA Dreamcast game "Shenmue".
She is well known as a voice actress among
Japanimation/anime fans having voiced over
35 anime films. She's a customer service
facilitator and standardized patient at
Mount Sinai hospital. She's a tap dancer
