New York and regional acting credits
include Ohio State Murders (Theater
for a New Audience), King Lear,
Comedy of Errors (Yale Repertory
Theater), The
Cenci (Ohio Theater/Hotel
Savant) and Angelic Faces (TheaterVision/Playtime).
Other credits include the Fringe First award-winning
European premiere of Rolin Jones' The
Jammer (Edinburgh Fringe Festival)
as well as Boiling Pot, a two-actor
documentary theater piece about race and
identity which Kobi co-wrote, and which
has been seen at Yale University, Emerson
College and the New York’s Cherry
Lane Theater as part of the New York International
Fringe Festival. As an improviser, Kobi
has appeared all over the country with Yale’s
Just Add Water and played to sold-out
houses in Los Angeles and Edinburgh as a
part of One Night Stand – an improvised
musical. He has also improvised opposite
Mike McShane of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
and guested in Impro Theater’s Sondheim
Unscripted. Kobi studied theater at
Yale University (BA, Theater Studies) and
improvisation at Second City Chicago.
