Opening
night: May 28, 2005
Prima ballerina Olga Andropov, inspiration to a generation of young girls,
is now a plus-sized shadow of her former self. Always seen in her signature
blue tutu, the rigors of a dance career have led Olga to what may be her
final plié.
Sven, the director of the corps du ballet, has devilishly choreographed
Olga's demise, and lured one of the younger dancers, Naïveté,
into his plan. And, now it's 'places' for the final act.
Will
the curtain come down on Olga's career?
Will Naïveté be drawn into the deadly pas de deux?
Is a pill the answer for everything?
Although she may lose small pieces of herself along the way, a true artiste
must be willing to share her soul... even with those who would betray
her. Tutu, Bruté?
