GHOST
IN THE HOUSE –
a haunting new musical
Opening
night: August 18, 2006
Featuring the hit song:
"Hair in the Drain"
Walt and his anxiety ridden wife, Myrna/Ava, are moving to a house in
the Catskills to escape the noise and hubbub of city life. What Jessica
the real estate agent fails to tell them is that the house comes fully-staffed
with a crazy old lady and a crazy old gardener.
Not long after moving in, Myrna/Ava discovers that the house is haunted
by the ghosts of the previous owners––she finds hair in the
drain that doesn't belong to her or her husband.
Oblivious to it all, her husband Walt remains obsessed with Rasputin and
armor and begins to decorate the house that way. He befriends the staff
that came with the house and discovers how fun it is to party with them,
make noise and raise hell. This sends Myrna/Ava into an epileptic anxiety
attack.
Will Myrna/Ava leave the noise of the Catskills and return to the serenity
of the city she treid to escape? Or will she realize that partying is
fun after all and stay in the house with her husband and the staff?
When in doubt, G-E-T-L-O-U-D.
