CRAZY 4 U - a new musical
Opening
night: August 12, 2005
At Humbleton Manor, an enormous mansion like something right out of the
game 'CLUE', the haves and have-nots play out their respective roles--
Nookie and Malaysia make their living as maids; and Simoney as a butler.
The master and mistress of the house, the Humbletons themselves, oversee
all the goings-on.
Mrs. Humbleton believes that life is about respect, and demands as much
from her staff. Mr. Humbleton has different ideas and, inbetween gobbling
crumpets, has developed the hots for Simoney. The maids wonder "Whose
Leg Do I Have 2 Hump?".
But Simoney discovers that Mrs. Humbleton's fortune is gone, the books
are crooked and she hasn't paid the staff in two years. Before Simoney
can expose her, Mrs. Humbleton fires him for sassing and being disrespectful.
Will Mr. Humbleton choose the crumpets of Simoney over staying loyal to
Mrs. H.? Will the maids really have to hump someone's leg?
Why has no one in the mansion ever seen Phillipa, the maid who makes rude
gestures and butts in where she's not needed?
Dinner
is served.
Who's trusting enough to take a bite?
