WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

JOSH KAPLAN

Nary a month before graduating law school, in a desperate attempt to lay claim to what remained of a spirited youth, Josh became a stand-up comic and began appearing regularly at Gotham Comedy Club and Carolines on Broadway. He improvises regularly with The Yes Show, The Next Show and What Men Talk About (While Women Make Us Wait).
Josh is a commodities attorney by day, a comic by night and all around "delicious young man," according to his grandma Edie.

JASON LAKS

Jason is tickled pink to be back performing
with CoDeCo on his home turf of Des Moines. While
Jason technically grew up in Albany, New York, they are both state capitals so why quibble? Jason is an improvisor with The Yes Show Workshops and performs with The Yes Show and The Next Show in New York. He's also a real estate attorney by day. His mother, while happy, is still holding out hope for med school.

SUSAN PASQUANTONIO

Susan is thrilled to be spending yet another year playing with her Yes Show pals. In addition to musical comedy improv, she continues to bring improv based family theater to school children on the East Coast, while also performing in theatrical plays and industrials. Her most recent theatrical role was that of a sleep deprived working mother in “Insomnia”, and she was brilliant! She really seemed tired and cranky!
The world of business knows Susan as a corporate training facilitator and event manager for companies such as Boeing, GE, and Pali Capital. In this setting she tries her best not to be described as “tired and cranky”, so here her acting abilities are really put to the test.
Despite all of these endeavors, relatives still wonder when Susan will get a job.

REBECCA STUARD

Rebecca Stuard is so excited to be returning to Iowa with The Yes Show: On Tour. Credits include: Cabaret (Helga) Rob Marshall, Dir., Forum with Rip Taylor (Gymnasia), Can Can (Claudine), and Gigi national tours. European tours include: On The Town and A Chorus Line (Val). Favorite roles include: notorious murderess Velma Kelly in CHICAGO (Merry-Go-Round Playhouse).
Rebecca remembers a fantastic Thai restaurant in Des Moines. This “Music Woman” is ready to roll. Spring Roll.

ROBERT ZWASCHKA

Robert Zwaschka is pleased to return to Iowa, where his journey as a performer began at the tender age of seven. He is an actor, improvisor, singer and dancer with various New York and Regional credits in theatre, film and TV, including: The Next Big Broadway Musical (a completely improvised musical comedy), Spontaneous Broadway (ditto), plus appearances at Chicago City Limits, Carolines on Broadway, the New York IMPROV and with ComedySportzNY.
Robert is probably best known for his anonymity.

MATTHEW LOREN COHEN

Matthew Loren Cohen co-created, co-produces and plays piano for NYC's original fully-improvised musical, The Next Big Broadway Musical. Recently he wrote the music for the critically acclaimed original revue, Hello, Boys!, and he performed Off-Broadway in the musical improv show, The Nuclear Family, which was filmed as a pilot for the Sundance Channel. He has acted as musical director for the OffBeat Comedy Club on Disney Cruise Lines and has played keyboard for the cable-television improv program, Lifegame. In New York, he has improvised on piano with ComedySportz, Chicago City Limits and numerous other troupes.
